SMAC Elite Basketball Clinic/Tryout:

Spend two hours being expertly trained by two of Ohio’s rising stars in the coaching community, Brett Vipperman and Isaac White!

Coach Vipperman is currently an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Mt Vernon Nazarene College (NAIA).  He is a 2015 graduate of Ashland High School, where he was part of setting a school record for wins in a season (22).  He then become a four-year starter at MVNU, leading the team to a program high in wins (27) in 2018-2019.  He is a four-time Crossroads League Honoree and an NAIA All American, scoring over 1,700 points during his collegiate career!  Coach Vipperman also spent a season as an Assistant Men’s coach at Covenant College (NCAA Division III).

Coach White is currently as Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Findlay University.  He is also a 2015 graduate of Ashland High School, where he was part of setting a school record for wins in a season (22).  He then earned a scholarship at NCAA Division I Umass-Lowell, where he stared as a freshman, earning American East Conference All Rookie Team.  Coach White eventually transferred to NCAA Division II Nova Southeastern, playing there one season before settling in at Mt Vernon Nazarene College to finish out his athletic career.  Coach White scored over 1,200 points as a collegiate.

Coach Vipperman and Coach White’s SMAC Elite Basketball Clinic will be a high level clinic focusing on skill development in the areas of shooting form/technique, footwork, and ball handling.  Each athlete will receive a lot of intense training that is sure to leave them with a stronger offensive game!

SMAC Ashland is thrilled to host and sponsor the SMAC Elite Basketball Clinic and will use it as their tryout for the 2022 Spring AAU/travel basketball season.  As such, the cost of the clinic is just $25 per participant with everyone receiving an event T-shirt at the start of the clinic/tryout.  To register, click on the link above.
