2007-08 at Bowling Green: Saw time in 19 games as a rookie including all five in the month of March … averaged 2.4 ppg and 0.7 rpg … was 8-of-15 (.533) from behind the arc … earned her first collegiate block versus Florida Gulf Coast (Nov. 30) … versus Cornell (Dec. 1) grabbed both an offensive and defensive rebound … blocked another shot at Mount St. Mary’s (Dec. 19) … pulled down a defensive rebound at home in a win over Chicago State (Jan. 5) … posted a then career high four points versus Akron (Jan. 9) shooting .500 from the field (1-2) and a perfect 2-of-2 from the line while also grabbing another defensive board in three minutes played … in her next outing, saw her first multi field goal performance going 2-of-3 from the floor, including 1-of-1 from behind the arc en route to setting a new career record 8 points at Kent State (Jan. 16) … also had two steals in that road win … was 1-of-2 from behind the three point line while snatching two defensive boards at Ball State (Jan. 26) … versus Northern Illinois (Feb. 9) , grabbed a career high three boards while converting a free throw … contributed another three points at home versus Buffalo (Mar. 1) before going on an 11 point tear at Akron (Mar. 5) in the final regular season game … Hooten was the third highest scorer in that road win pointing 11 points and her first multiple trey night as a Falcon … was perfect from behind both lines going 2-of-2 from the arc and 1-of-1 from the stripe … went 4-of-5 from the field including a career high 3-of-4 from behind the arc in the MAC Tournament quarterfinal versus Kent State (Mar. 11) marking five straight three point field goals over the span of two games … recorded a new career high with those 13 points and was one of four Falcons to score in the double-digits in that win … in final game of the season, a second round WNIT loss at Michigan State (Mar. 22), was 1-of-2 from the three point line.

High School: A four-year letterwinner for coaches Mark Hyser and Pam and Willie Davis, at Canton McKinley High School … averaged 17 points per game as a senior captain and was named the No. 2 shooting guard in the state as well as one of the Top 25 players and Top 265 seniors in the nation … a three-year (2004-2006) team MVP as well as free throw winner … set the Canton McKinley records for blocks and three-pointers … helped the Bulldogs to three consecutive semi-final appearances and one semi-championship appearance … recognized as the Treasure Humpries and Keisha Lewis award recipient as well the Most Recruited Female Army award winner … earned the Presidential and Who’s Who academic awards … a four-year GEAR-UP prospect.
